Brian Bystedt is a photographer who has spent years documenting ancient petroglyphs and pictographs through his camera lens.

Brian now translates those images into metal wall art using 3/16" steel with a rusted patina.

He gives each of his pieces a name which reflects his personal interpretation of the glyph's meaning.

His current work focuses on the petroglyphs of the Mogollon Culture in New Mexico and the Hohokam culture in Arizona.
